As a Human-being, an American, as one who knows what war is, also one that knows what our perceived and real enemies look like. The actions and re-actions of the last few days hang heavy, somethings encouraged and others things fill me with sadness.
Of course each of us has had different experiences, have different beliefs, different problems, hopes and dreams. I hold to reality, part of that is that we as humans have come a long way in our collective concept of human values. Always challenged and yet again always reaching for event higher thought, more human solutions. It's how we advanced to this point in history, this has always been the history of man-kind. So I go forward pushing good thought, reason and understanding yet aware of evil and evil leaders, insane followers, but always an optimistic.
