I believe this with all my heart, the beginning of education is an open mind.
In todays world it is easy to see the truth behind this, education in one field without an open mind can be as bad as no education with no lives experiences.
This is simply not confronting reality, will provide no change or awareness of modern problems.
Born on a farm in Iowa, lived the American dream.
US Marine Corp. Medical Retired in 1967. Returning to Vietnam 1969 to 1975 as a civilian, worked in the evacuation of Vietnam April in 1975.
Lived in Iran for 2 years, departing after the revolution.
Worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years for Saudi Aramco, 1979 to 1999. Early Retirement.
Worked for a USA oil drilling company Transocean drilling medical retirement in 2006.
Married to a beautiful special lady from Vietnam for 43 years.
In 2008 I started to write a book, drawing on what I have learned, saw and lived in my life. I hope to help others to think of our world with just a bit more depth with a little more honesty - understanding. I believe all have something to share, this is why I Write.
