It may be that the lack of thinking, to truly contemplate fact and events around us, to think out a few weeks, months, years on certain facts using what we do know may be our biggest education problem, not the teachers but each of us, and then do something !
In business school and other fields of education do they encourage any sustainable aspect to the market and what effect it will have on people and society. I fear often we look only for a direct result for profit only, sorry but thats what I see so often. The answer can be found by thinking deep using the higher thought that humans has in them.
Facts concerning our education system that don't reflex the reality and challenges of today.
Born on a farm in Iowa, lived the American dream.
US Marine Corp. Medical Retired in 1967. Returning to Vietnam 1969 to 1975 as a civilian, worked in the evacuation of Vietnam April in 1975.
Lived in Iran for 2 years, departing after the revolution.
Worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years for Saudi Aramco, 1979 to 1999. Early Retirement.
Worked for a USA oil drilling company Transocean drilling medical retirement in 2006.
Married to a beautiful special lady from Vietnam for 43 years.
In 2008 I started to write a book, drawing on what I have learned, saw and lived in my life. I hope to help others to think of our world with just a bit more depth with a little more honesty - understanding. I believe all have something to share, this is why I Write.
